From live rugby, to St Patrick’s Day and the myriads of bank holidays heading our way, here is our comprehensive list of the best things to do, see and experience in Dublin during the Spring

3. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade

A Dublin classic!

If you’re lucky enough to be staying in Dublin over the St. Patrick’s Day Weekend, the parade is a rite of passage (and its free!). Watch as floats and performers embody different aspects of Irish culture, from the delightful (Irish dancers) to the macabre (banshees, Bram Stoker and Banbha…). If you’re craving a pint and a feed post-parade, you’re in luck. The Arlington Bar is the first bar beside the parade starting point, offering paradegoers delicious traditional and modern Irish cuisine, and the creamiest Guinness north of the river.
