General Hotel Information
What time is check-in?
Check-in is any time after 3pm on the day of arrival.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is any time before 12pm on the day of departure.
Does the hotel offer baggage storage?
Yes, we are more than happy to store your luggage at the reception free of charge before check-in or after check-out.
Does the hotel offer free Wi-Fi?
Yes, we have complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout all public areas and bedrooms.
Is there a laundry service available?
Yes, we offer a laundry service at an extra charge. Please enquire at reception.
Is there tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms?
Yes.
Do you provide Irons and Ironing Boards?
The hotel provides a supply of Irons and Ironing Boards in almost all rooms and on request.
Is there a hairdryer in the room?
Yes.
What do I do if I accidentally left some items in the hotel?
Please call or email us with the following information; a description of the item, stay dates and your room number so we can check our lost property.
Are pets permitted in the hotel?
No, unfortunately, we don’t allow pets in the hotel, with the exception for guide dogs and service animals.
Is the hotel reception desk open 24 hours a day?
Yes, our front desk is open 24-hours.
What is the hotel’s smoking policy?
We operate a strictly non-smoking policy throughout the entire hotel. A fee will be charged to guests who are found to be in breach of our no smoking policy.
Is the hotel accessible?
Yes, we have elevators and an accessible room if required.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, we sell gift vouchers. Please contact us for more information or to buy a gift voucher. You can also buy a gift voucher online.
Do you provide printing facilities for boarding passes?
Yes, we can print boarding passes at reception.
Does the hotel offer currency exchange?
No, we don’t offer currency exchange at the hotel, however, we will be happy to direct you to the nearest currency exchange office.
Which plug sockets are used in Ireland?
The electrical supply in Ireland is 230v/50Hz. Plugs and sockets operate using three prongs and plug adapters are widely available.
Do you have travel adapters in the hotel?
Yes, we have adapters, and they are available to purchase for €4 per adapter.
Rooms & Amenities
What room types does the hotel offer?
Depending on your needs, guests can choose between several different room types, including Double Rooms, Twin Rooms, Triple Rooms, Quad Rooms, Family Rooms and King Rooms.
Can I get a cot bed in my room?
Yes, cots beds are available upon request (subject to availability).
Are the hotel rooms air-conditioned?
No, none of the rooms are air-conditioned.
Do the bathrooms have a shower or a bath?
We have both options available upon request. If you have a preference, please let our reservations team know prior to your arrival.
Does the hotel offer wake-up calls?
Yes, we provide wake-up calls. Please speak to a member of the reception team to arrange.
Dining
What dining options are available at the hotel?
We have a restaurant and bar available on site.
Does the hotel offer breakfast?
Yes, we do offer breakfast. Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am weekdays and from 7.30am to 10.30am weekends and Bank Holidays.
What are the opening times of the restaurant?
Lunch is served at our restaurant daily from 12pm to 3pm. Dinner is served daily from 3pm to 9.30pm.
Does the restaurant cater for food for allergies?
Yes, we do. Please let us know in advance if possible or inform your waiter if you have any special food requirements.
Do you provide room service?
No, we do not provide room service.
Is there a reservation for dinner required?
No, a reservation is not specifically required, however, you can email us at reception@arlington.ie or call us on +353 (0)1 804 9100 to make a reservation.
Is there any entertainment available in the hotel?
Yes, we have live music in The Arlington Bar every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. We are also home to the renowned Celtic Nights dinner and show. You can book tickets here, by emailing info@celticnights.com or at reception.
Do you cater for large groups? Can I book a private dining space for a special occasion?
Yes, to enquire about private groups and special occasions please email events@arlington.ie.
Booking & Cancellation
What is the best way to make a reservation?
The best way to make a reservation is online on our website where you can easily avail of our best rates. Alternatively, you can call us on +353 (0)1 804 9100or email info@arlington.ie.
What should I do if I haven’t received a booking confirmation?
If you have not received a confirmation email after making a direct booking you can contact us directly by emailing info@arlington.ie and we would be happy to help you.
What payment methods does the hotel accept?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards as well as contactless payments.
What is the hotel’s credit/debit card policy?
A valid credit/debit card is required to secure all bookings made online or over the phone.
How do I make a group or multiple room booking?
For group bookings, please email info@arlington.ie.
Are there any age restrictions when booking a hotel room?
You must be 18 or older to guarantee the booking. All under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.
Can I show up at the hotel without a booking?
Yes, you can, however, we cannot guarantee a room as it will depend on the availability on the day.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, depending on availability, we’ll be happy to accommodate you for further nights at an additional cost. Please contact our reception team at any stage during your stay and we will happily arrange the rest for you.
How can I amend or cancel my booking?
If the booking is made directly at the property you can contact us directly via phone +353 (0)1 804 9100 or email info@arlington.ie. If a booking is made through a 3rd party booking agent, you must contact them directly.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation varies depending on the booking you have made. Before booking, please read the terms and conditions of the cancellation policy you have chosen. If you chose an advance purchase option, the booking will not be refunded as per the terms and conditions.
What does the “no-show” policy entail?
If you do not successfully cancel your booking or don’t show up on your selected date of arrival, the booking will go through as a no-show and you will be charged.
How can I cancel my reservation if I booked via a third-party website?
All reservations made through third-party websites must be amended or cancelled directly with the third-party website as we cannot do that on your behalf. Please note that third party websites and online travel agents have their own cancellation policies, so please refer to your confirmation email.
Location & Parking
Where exactly is the hotel located in Dublin City Centre?
We are located at 23-25 Bachelors Walk, O’Connell Bridge, Dublin 1, which is less than a 2-minute walk from O’ Connell Street.
We are approximately a 25 to 35-minute drive from Dublin Airport.
Are there any shopping areas nearby?
Yes, we are based less than 2-minutes away from O’Connell Street and 10-minutes from Grafton Street, which are two of the major shopping districts in Dublin.
How close are public transport links to the hotel?
As the hotel is located in Dublin City Centre, we are within easy access to different modes of public transport such as the bus and LUAS (tram system).
Is there a car rental station near the hotel?
Yes, Sixt car hire is a 10-minute walk from our hotel.
Is parking available at the hotel?
Due to the very central location of our hotel, we do not have our own car park. However, we recommend Best Car Parks at Arnotts, which is located approximately a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
